How many hours of your life does it take to buy 1 #Bitcoin?
Most people look at Bitcoin and think:
“It’s too expensive now.”
But that’s the wrong way to look at it.
Bitcoin isn’t really getting more expensive.
Your money is getting weaker.
Your wages are being paid in a currency that loses purchasing power every year.
Your savings sit in the bank while food, fuel, bills, rent, mortgages, houses and everything else get more expensive around you.
That is not an accident.
That is the fiat system.
More money gets created. Prices rise. Your wages lag behind. Your savings quietly melt.
And the average person is left wondering why they work harder every year but feel poorer.
Now look at Bitcoin.
There will only ever be 21 million Bitcoin.
No central bank can print more.
No politician can dilute it.
No company can change the supply.
No one can create another 10 million because the system needs “stimulus.”
That is why Bitcoin matters.
It is not just an investment. It is not just “crypto.” It is not some app, stock, or tech trend.
Bitcoin is the hardest money humanity has ever had.
For the median UK worker, after tax, the amount of work needed to buy 1 Bitcoin has gone from days, to weeks, to months, to years.
And if Bitcoin keeps doing what it has always done, most people will not measure it in “how many pounds does 1 Bitcoin cost?”
They will measure it in:
“How many years of my life does it take to earn one?”
That is the part people need to understand.
You do not have to buy a whole Bitcoin.
You can buy a small piece.
Bitcoin is divisible into 100 million sats.
£10 can buy sats. £50 can buy sats. £100 can buy sats.
The point is not to get rich overnight.
The point is to stop storing your life’s energy in money that is designed to lose value.
Bitcoin gives normal people a way out.
A way to save in something scarce. A way to protect the hours they have already worked. A way to opt out of a broken system that rewards debt, inflation and money printing.
Fiat teaches you to spend before your money loses value.
Bitcoin teaches you to save because your money is scarce.
That is the mindset shift.
17 years in Bitcoin has taught me one thing:
You are not poor because you are lazy.
You are struggling because the money you are paid in is broken.
Bitcoin fixes the money.
And once you understand that, you never look at pounds or the dollar or any other fiat currency the same way again.
Bitcoin is the answer, bitcoin is the way out. Bitcoin is my retirement plan and it should be yours too🫡
