Had take out dinner tonight from a small diner. Went to the town park, saw what appeared to be a baseball game, do we decided to park and watch. Turned out to be kick ball, boys against girls. It was fun to watch ! Definitely not what I would have expected to see.

Been able to watch some World Cup matches, and have seen some funny commercials - Peyton Manning’s commercial for one. But, the Uber Woman Driver one raises eyebrows. In it, women can choose women drivers. I understand the marketing choice, but where will it lead ? Only White driver, only Black driver, only Lesbian-over 250 lbs-pink hair driver?????

Survived the power outage somehow. Note to self, need to replace UPS soon, battery life is dwindling. Only a few branches down here - seems like the major damage was immediately north and then south of us.
