Never thought I’d see these two together. Many people here probably dislike both of them for holding one view or another, but IMO this is worth a listen… two people who’ve been in opposition for years on the internet coming together in person to dive deep on complex issues that affect us all:

There never was a 4 year cycle. Bitcoin has experienced a small number of historically specific regime shifts that happened to *sort of* line up near halvings. And you all lost your minds. Study Taleb. Lessons in there.

Sober analysis. I’d add: Nostr doesn’t have to ONLY be a backup/ripcord option. Paid subs for valuable content and/or services can exist here too. Heck, ads (sans deceptive design patterns) can even exist here too in certain contexts.
