Appreciate the people and the culture here… while also glad to have emigrated. They’d make for great Bitcoiners. If you need training on how to live humbly below your means, and never spend a cent more than something is worth— go spend time around Winnipeggers. They’ll put your thriftiness to shame. The place is also a total time warp compared to California: always slow and cautious to change, and never changing more than absolutely necessary.

Many such things happening while these globalist control freaks believe they sit on some sort of moral high ground right now in comparison to the USA.

I don’t claim to understand the complexity and nuances of international trade but I’m LOVING the fact that tariffs have helped impose local food and beverage products on travelers to Canada.
Finally… the backbone and support for local producers this place has been longing for.
When you’re traveling you should be experiencing the richness of another culture anyway. Not the same global brand bullshit you can get back home.
Canadians don’t like orange man but they may benefit from his policies waking them the fuck up.
