Yay! Stuff breaking. Just noticed this concrete cattle waterer was overflowing. I haven't been in this paddock for about two months, so I have no idea how long it's been running. Had to dig to the shut-off valve to turn it off. Luckily, it's not a broken pipe. It seems to just be the float valve has failed. I'll try to replace it next week. #grownostr #farmstr #proofofwork

Fed my last bale of hay this evening. That means grazing season starts tomorrow. The grass has just started growing. I would have liked to have another week worth of hay, but I do have one pasture with enough grass to graze now. That should buy enough time to let the other pastures grow some more. Made myself this simple little table from a solid slab of ash. Slab is a cut off from a large countertop or something that we did a few years ago at the sawmill, and it found it's way home with me after a much needed shop decluttering.
