Something I’ve learned with watching friends start a business and starting one myself, is keep your costs as low as you possibly can when starting out Buying a shit ton of product inventory, commercial equipment, rental space, etc.. can really drown you right off the bat. So my last post was talking about the timeless cementing process of leaded stained glass windows In this picture you can see the cement mix outside of the crevices and channels I let this mix sit and harden for a few days so this mix seals the panel shut - to become a functioning window that can protect the inside of the home from cold and hot temperatures I then use a pointed tool to scrap along the lead framing so it removes this excess cement mix, so all that’s left is the mix in the channels to harden fully #gn #grownostr #art #stainedglass #artstr

Cemented these guys today! Fun fact, the cementing process for this work (where you create a cement mix and scrub it into the open crevices to seal the window) has been the same since the 14th century! Chalk, oil, alcohol and pigment Timeless! #gn #grownostr #artstr #art
