Private Update Queries is a feature we'll be working on this year, whereby the relay will have no clue which apps you have installed on your device - through some cryptography magic: VOPRF-based Private Set Intersection. Tell me which app store cares more about user's privacy. I'll wait. If you have any cryptographer friend who can help us review, let us know!

WhatsApp now indexed on our relay, directly from their website! While it may not be the best messenger out there, and their words taken with a grain of salt, people should be free to choose. Russians today are being pushed to use a government-surveilled one.

Several issues fixed and deployed. Publishing should work again. Reminder: use zsp for publishing!

Zapstore is an open permissionless app store. That does not mean *anything goes* on our relay. Spam, scams and malware are not welcome regardless of end users' web-of-trust checks. From Zapstore 1.0.0, you can manage your app catalog relays! If you don't like relay.zapstore.dev's policy, you are free to use others! (For technical reasons this setting is stored locally but we're working on syncing that to a Nostr event to make it more portable *and* discoverable. So from Zapstore itself you'll be able to join in on other app catalogs your social graph uses or recommends.) QUICK DEMO:
