Zapstore development status:
Finishing the new relay and media server infrastructure (thanks to @🪽 کیهان) including separate relays for Github-proxy and dev signed.
Auto-indexing: The Github (and similar services) relay will allow suggestions so you no longer need to ask for apps to be added - you just do it.
Same for developer whitelisting, the process for gaining write access will be streamlined.
An all new pure-Dart APK parser library will be integrated in zapstore-cli and gearing up for releasing 0.2.0 final.
(This same library will be used in the Zapstore app, so developers will also be able to publish from there - and sign with Amber - the fifth supported signing method for developers).
zapstore-cli is being fine tuned to power the intense indexing job as well. It's faster than ever.
The new models Dart library, with its Purplebase implementation I'm wrapping up, is the cornerstone of the revamped Zapstore app - social features will be a breeze to implement, so expect those too.
Also: Relay selection (with it, you can remove non-dev signed apps easily), Blossom server and DVM provider selection. Unattended updates coming as well.
All while migrating to the revised/updated Software Applications NIP spec and new relays/Blossom server with no downtime.
All this will be coming together in the next 1-2 months.
Next up: A Zapstore community (via @Niel Liesmons work with communi-keys), and client-side abstraction to support Linux and MacOS desktop apps. All suggest-able and auto-indexed too, same for CLI apps to use as package manager. Relay and zapstore-cli/indexer support already almost done.
LFG
Lots of new apps indexed!

PSA:
If you get an error: "Possibly a malicious file. Aborting installation" it's because it's true. The hash of the file in the nostr event does not match the hash of the downloaded asset.
Two possible reasons:
- The developer modified the release after publishing the nostr event to the Zapstore relay
- There is a server compromise or a man-in-the-middle attack
This is Zapstore protecting you, not trying to annoy you.
In the case of APKs indexed by Zapstore (from Github, for example) this will be mitigated with the new zapstore-cli indexer going live in a few weeks.
If the app was signed by a developer, you need to contact the developer.
I am going to improve the messaging, and add a "reckless mode" for those who want to install or upgrade despite the mismatch.
This minute, 4 out of 5 latest apps are signed by developers. Love to see this 💜
(Oh, I also just indexed Bitrefill)

I'm considering not answering DMs anymore.
