Born in 2009, #Bitcoin is a direct threat to the monopoly of central banks, the dollar, and other fiat currencies. Decentralized, censorship-resistant, and not manipulable by any central authority, it functions as a kind of “Bible in the vernacular” for the financial system: anyone can participate without intermediaries.

A personal observation, thinking of "The Human Action" written by L. Von Mises... Human action is a result of Consciousness. Many individuals are not conscious, they simply react to the world and obey to their basic instincts, overwhelmed by emotions like a ship in the stormy sea. These individuals don't act, the are non-playing figures in this game called "Life". Only Consciousness enlightens the Will and leads to human action.
