The way that Bitcoin Magazine fumbled the bag and lost all credibility should be studied for years to come. It's hard for me to even click on links to BM articles that I'm genuinely interested in. I just think about that guys' tweets and shiver.
I finally listened to that Killer Mike album from start to finish and that shit is a master piece. I highly recommend you to do so. The singles are cool, but the whole album is something else.
I'm going to step my Nostr game up. And I'm not going to bore you with excuses about why I haven't been active here lately. Shout out to me! (*@`MartyBent`'s voice)
The first-ever bitcoin fiction anthology, “21 Futures: Tales from the Timechain,” already exists in physical form and Konsensus Network is shipping it worldwide as you read these lines. My short story “Eye In The Sky” is part of the anthology, and I’m going to give you a teaser trailer of sorts. You won’t find some of this background information in the story, but it’s somehow implied. “In the not-so-distant future, the Negrón family runs a fairly successful citadel. Thirteen bitcoiner families joined forces to grow their own food, run several businesses, educate their children, live, breathe, and intermix. However, change is imminent. A violent coup resulted in a change of government in the country that the citadel is in, and the new administration is not so keen on an independent city inside their domain. At heart, “Eye In The Sky” is a family drama. The citadel is the Negróns’ business, and adversity causes the strong personalities of everyone involved to clash. What’s the right course of action? How will they deal with the threat? Who’s right and who’s wrong? Besides the crisis, another mystery looms. Why do the Negróns have a separate residence in the middle of the jungle, far away from the citadel? What are they doing there besides bitcoin mining? The secret location might be the key to unlocking the citadel’s future prospects.” Preorder “21 Futures: Tales from the Timechain” using this link and get a 10% discount → image

I will not name names and I'm not insinuating anything about bitcoiners. This is just my empirical experience. In my decade-long career as a freelancer, working without contracts on the wild wild west that is the Internet, the only two companies who have ordered work and didn't pay me were bitcoin-only companies. The very people I expected the most integrity from. Curious.
My parents came to visit and I forgot about the Internet, but here I am again Nostr. What did I miss?
Sorry I haven't been active here. The real world has been getting all of my attention lately.
"This beauty is still a prototype, but if successful, its GitHub promises it will be a standalone ASIC miner. That means it “can mine directly to your pool over WiFi. No External computer needed.” The bitaxeUltra will be “low cost, low maintenance, high availability, high reliability, low power.” This baby could further democratize Bitcoin mining and give small miners an edge. Plus, the idea is already out there. If it doesn’t work, another smart kid will figure out how to cheaply produce an open-source ASIC miner." More -->
