The decay of the YouTube reviews of phones continue. There are infinite more unboxing and life in the day videos. But in-depth testing and providing what defines the phone / not has gone missing. I miss the days Anandtech will give detailed reports on the cyclone core #sigh

After observing the camera control for a couple days, it feels like 3D touch to me. It's going to be beloved by some people. However the button is too finicky for a regular person... Unless it can do something "fun" or frequent. Visual intelligence could be it. But, until then, 3D touch.

Apple Intelligence called for a memory boost in iPhones.

I worry that apple's painting itself into a corner for on-device models with such a low amount of RAM for even the Pro phones. For comparison, competition is on the 16GB mark.

Personally, I will be thrilled if a chromium based browser is ported on to iOS and ipad OS. People can really test how they compare to Safari, even to just push the Safari team more. I like Safari and I personally think its quality of extensions are indeed high, but time for some competition imho.
