2024 has probably been the best year of my life. -Wife is pregnant (due July 2025) -Best work performance of my life -Most time spent with family since living at home -Bitcoin $100k and 100%+ YTD -Most financially secure ever -Best gym consistency ever -Back to church on consistent basis -First full year of home ownership I look forward to 2025 somehow being even better. I pray God continues to bless my family and me! Life is so good.

My favorite part about 2024 has been attending #bitcoin meetups with my dad. It’s a true pleasure to share this together. My dad is the coolest dad in the history of dads.

The most annoying part about being a bitcoiner is the nocoiners that think I’m in crypto. 1) I don’t give a single fuck about your trading course. 2) You will underperform bitcoin and likely lose fiat while you’re at it. Stupid, greedy, high time preference people.

Long bitcoin at $100,000 per coin in December 2024 is one of the most obvious trades in recent memory. It’s even more obvious than long bitcoin at $16,000 in December 2022, and that was pretty freakin obvious.

Maybe this is a stupid question. But why do we not hard fork #bitcoin as soon as possible to avert the year 2106 problem? Wouldn’t it be significantly easier to hard fork now while bitcoin is still <1% global adoption and only *really* used and understood by actual bitcoiners? I’m surprised to see the lack of urgency for, what seems to be, a rather uncontroversial modification. Please tell me why I’m wrong!
