Bitcoin only, no more fiat for me. Just hit the point where I can't use fiat anymore. Almost a year ago I told someone I draw the line with using banks when they force me to use facial recognition or fingerprints to use my "own money". I take what I say seriously and always do what I say. Today is that day. Two or three months ago, they started with fingerprint / facial recognition on the banking app but I could still disable it. As if today I can only make fiat payments if I do facial recognition. And I'm not willing to compromise. I don't really keep much fiat in my bank anyway, basically just for what I have to do at the moment. I knew this moment would come. I used a scan to pay method to bypass the facial recognition for now to pay for the meat I ordered locally. My fiat banking account is now empty and it will stay that way. As of today I am Bitcoin only and if I can't pay for something with my sats, I'll have to DIY it! Wish me luck!

I'm almost finshed with the illustrations of my children's book! Many hours, days and weeks have gone into making this book. I will soon release a teaser. This project is very close to my heart, I can't wait to publish it. Any advice publishing book in both print and ebook would be very much appreciated. @Alby I opened a channel on Alby hub through a channel peer about a month ago. I payed for the channel and send a few sats to test my wallet and all worked. I did not connect my wallet to my Nostr yet but I did connect it to my website. Nothing went through my wallet in the mean time. Today I finally got around to connect it to my Nostr and now I don't have a channel on Alby Hub and no sats in wallet. There was not much sats in wallet, we did test runs of 450sats in total but it showed like 96sats or something due to reserves the channel keeps, but I payed 17225 sats for the channel. What happened to the channel? I did DM but got no response. #asknostr #alby

14 years ago today I married my knight in shining armour. My family did not approve due to his honesty and straightforwardness, I'm so glad I ignored them and said yes! Here's to many more years to come 🥂🍾! P.S. We have 5 happy humans to prove our marriage worked, no regrets!
