Doug plays everything by ear, has never read music. Now he is a semi retired Luthier in Melbourne and focuses on playing classical guitar, excellently. There's so much I admire about this guy, he's the reason I have an abiding love of the guitar, and although Doug never made it to the "big time" he's lived a life centred around his music, and it doesn't get much better than that.
