The non-stop rain always reminds me of the hardest days of our lives during the flood. Watching the water rise, worrying about our home, and wondering when life would finally return to normal were moments I will never forget. But today, I choose to smile. Not because life has always been easy, but because we survived every challenge that tried to break us. Every hardship made us stronger, every tear taught us resilience, and every new day reminded us never to lose hope. Storms don't last forever, and neither do difficult seasons. As long as we keep believing and moving forward, brighter days will always find their way back to us. ๐Ÿค๐ŸŒง๏ธ

From 165/85 my BP yesterday was 150/65 It reminded me that healing doesn't always happen overnight. Sometimes, it begins with one difficult decision after another. There were foods I wanted to eat, but I chose not to. Not because I don't enjoy them, but because I want to take better care of myself. My family still needs me, and I want to stay strong for them. Discipline is one of the hardest forms of self-love. It's choosing what your body needs over what your cravings want. I'm not aiming for perfectionโ€”just small, consistent steps toward a healthier life. One day at a time. ๐Ÿค Blessed Sunday ๐Ÿ™ my dear friends image

Today, I brought my husband's laboratory results to the clinic because his gout pain was too severe for him to walk. The doctor prescribed his medicines, and I made sure he had everything he needed. I stayed by his side, helped him, and even emptied the bucket he used because he couldn't move. But while I was taking care of him, I found out that my own blood pressure was 165/85. What hurt me the most wasn't the numberโ€”it was realizing that no one even asked if I was okay. Sometimes, the deepest pain isn't physical. It's feeling invisible to the person you would never stop caring for. ๐Ÿ’” image

They say love is in the little things. So what does it mean when the little things never come? He has the money. He has the time. But Iโ€™m still the one fighting for both of us. Checking his gout. Watching his orange urine. While mine hits 165 and I go to the health center alone. Iโ€™m learning something: I canโ€™t force someone to care. But I can choose to care for myself. Starting now... image

Today, my husband is suffering from a painful gout attack. Seeing him in pain breaks my heart because I never want someone I love to suffer. But I would be lying if I said it didn't remind me of the times I was sick too. The days when I had to endure headaches, dizziness, and exhaustion while still taking care of everyone. Somewhere along the way, I learned to stay quiet, to be strong, and to keep going even when I wished someone would ask if I was okay. Maybe that's what unconditional love looks like. You continue to care, even when you once wished someone had cared for you the same way. "Sometimes the strongest hearts are the ones that keep giving love, even after knowing what it feels like to receive so little." ๐Ÿค The image below we needed to send it to their work so they'll understand why he is absent.. image

Life gives us so much to endure, and some days feel heavier than others. But just like every sunrise, there's always a new beginning and a new hope waiting for us. No matter how hard yesterday was, never stop believing that brighter days are ahead. ๐ŸŒ…๐Ÿค Happy Thursday morning everyone... Keep shinning and always be yourself ๐Ÿฅ€๐Ÿฅฐ
