Why doesn't government just use the monthly allocation to grants, and use it to buy #Bitcoin, and send people the Sats instead? Let people decide what to do with it, instead of giving it as cash. The impulse of that much money flowing in would keep bumping the price, making last month's grant worth more and more every time, yet still sending the same amount every month. Massive leverage, and would incentivise saving it and not using it straight away, eventually having enough to live off on price appreciation alone. #SouthAfrica
