GM☕ Gold is clunky, it has inflation, it is hard to verify... But in a chaotic and post-truth world, gold is just solid. For Bitcoin to dethrone gold, it has to earn that same trust with the normie, that it's just solid. That it infact is digital gold. Therefore I think it's more important than ever that the decentralization, immutability and monetary maximalism of Bitcoin is protected. If we can do that, then Bitcoin's superior monetary properties should win out in the end.

I think its time.. worshipbitcoin never fully clicked as a name. It was meant to be in gest (though with a grain of truth), and kinda make fun of ourselves as a pretty cultish community, while also embracing the religious parallels that are quite astonishing really. But seems that didn't carry through, and many took it literally and was put off by the "cultishness". So I'm changing the name of this account (but keeping the handle for now):

Good time to remember that Bitcoin is the only place where even the most powerful must follow the rules.
