I have a personally complaint to make with the Blockstream Jade.
Why on earth would they let user pick “any valid” final seed word when doing 12 work checksum validation…
Sure. It’s “valid” but it’s non-standard and doesn’t interoperable with other bitcoin wallets AT ALL. It forces you into a blockstream walled garden where you have to buy their hardware or run their special software to unlock your coins.
There is a huge need growing in the ecosystem: Users running your own code on your own hardware.
There is freedom that comes with knowing the code your run, ANY WHY!
