Costa Rica abolished its army in 1948, commemorated with a national holiday every Dec. 1. Instead they prioritize national budget investments in areas such as education, healthcare, and environmental conservation. Isn’t that awesome?

Wonder Woman stopped while running up a mountain to take a picture of the beach. Pretty, isn’t it? Have a great day. Punch Nazis. 
Behold the delectable Sandia, a Fresca made from watermelon infused water and no added sugar. Most local restaurants in Costa Rica offer a variety of them. 10/10 
Wonder Woman used her telephoto lens to capture this picture of a mama sloth way up in the top of a tree in the jungle near the coast. 
We visited the home of a family who have a troop of White Faced Capuchin Monkeys living in the jungle around them. This one made friends with Wonder Woman. 
The Christian Eve view from our balcony, overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Jaco, Costa Rica. For a travel day, it was pretty good. Hope to see sloths, monkeys, toucans and scarlet macaws tomorrow. Might take pictures. 
Until today, I hadn’t taken an international flight since 2019. When it was time to board, I had my boarding pass and passport ready but Delta had a face recognition scanner. I looked at it t. The light turned green. They told me to go ahead, not looking at my documents. WHAT? HOW? #Privacy #Travel

My son has always worked in tech until this year. He left a pretty lucrative job to start his own business tuning and repairing pianos. If you have a need and live in Austin, ask me how to hit him up. He found this yesterday inside a 1910 model. 
The genius who designed my doctor’s patient portal graciously added a feature that lets you see the dates of your upcoming appointments. But not the time. #Useless

I bought the tree rats a 50-lb. bag of peanuts for Christmas. It won't stop them from trying to steal all the bird's food because they're assholes, but they're entertaining, so I indulge them. 
I just found out Dr. Oliver Sachs, author of books like Awakenings and The Man Who Mistook His Wife for A Hat, used a technique called "just making shit up" in his supposedly non-fiction books. 100% asshole move. People read those to get insight and hope.
