Another day, another chance to succeed.
The juggling continues to limp along.
One of the bean bags has started losing beans.
I think the tennis ball left sometime in the night and I've substituted a rolled up sock.
I have no idea where the scarves went. Possibly into the laundry. I can only hope they surface eventually.
It's okay. It's one day at a time. I just need to do what I can with what I have in the time allotted.
I hope you find some peace in your chaos #today

Professional teller of tales
I write the books I want to read but can't find.
I will, on occasion, post the picture of a park, usually taken in the morning on the day of the post. I use the tag #tommw for Talking On My Morning Walk, my somewhat daily podcast.
I never post the link. The picture is the "first word" of the podcast and tells my listeners that the new episode is coming. They know how to find it.

A new day, a new chance to succeed.
Another day with a post-op pet needing carefully dosed medications at all hours.
More stressed out juggling that never seems to scratch the itch or soothe the frazzled nerves.
Writing will take a back seat. Reading probably at mealtimes. Lots of playing to let myself breathe a bit.
Exercise? Inertia is my foe.
But this is normal. These periods happen. They pass. The trick is to be here when they're gone.
I hope you find the strength you need #today
A new day. A new chance to succeed.
The juggle continues to include big chunks of stuff I can't control.
But then it always does. One of the reasons I call it juggling. Trying to keep important things going while dealing with all the stuff life tosses just comes with the turf.
Saturday has a different pattern. The one where I step back to contemplate the process.
Mostly, though, I just play.
I hope you find a few extra moments to play #today
Bumblebees low buzz
Busy with pollination.
Tend to their flitting.

Another day, a new chance to succeed.
I plan to juggle the same things I juggle every day.
Write a little
Read a little
Play a little
Walk a little
They're not the things I "have" to do. They're the things I want to have happen today. The small things I can add to the world.
Some days it works better than others. Some days are just picking up dropped balls.
Yet each day adds a few grains to my pile of satisfaction.
I hope you can add a few grains to your pile #today
Dewy drops sparkle
Sunlight caught in spider's web.
Nature's dream catcher.

Another day. A new chance to succeed.
Dark and early start, a slightly more relaxed opener to the day. A day to settle into the juggling of mind, body, and spirit.
A day to work on mindfulness, on focus. Two aspects that have rolled away like tennis balls under the sofa over the last couple of weeks.
Today I'll dig them out, dust them off and see how they fit in the pattern again.
I hope you can find a few moments to find your focus #today

Laughs over a stony bed.

Another day. Another chance to succeed.
Today's my designated day off. It's the day I plan to just loaf around, drinking coffee and playing games.
Except for a few things I want to maintain.
Morning journal
This post.
A haiku.
I'll play a lot.
In play my mind is free to tell me stories. They're like meditations in a long shower but don't use water for inspiration.
I hope you can find a moment to tell yourself stories #today
Dark and rainy clouds,
Rainbows arch under grey skies.
Nature's cheeky grin.

A new day. A new chance to succeed.
It's tempting to look at the last few days as having been wasted. The juggling efforts, chaotic. The external evidence of some kind of success, sparse.
But
Success isn't measured what I did yesterday or this week or this month.
Success, at least for me, has become less about what I've done and more about who I've become.
My juggling has taught me much this year. I'm looking forward to learning more.
I hope you can become a little more you #today
Darkness calls to us,

A new day. A new chance to succeed.
My juggling of mind, body, and spirit has been out of kilter this week.
It happens periodically. Sometimes in times of stress. Sometimes out of the blue.
In the past, I'd tense up. Try to brute force it.
It seldom worked. It only led to exhaustion.
Now? I just let it be.
My boat is self-righting if I only give it a chance. It might be a little soggy for a time, but it always comes back.
I hope you find solace in just letting it be #today
Crystalline sunrise
Breaks open summer's day.
Fresh morning revealed.

A new day. A new chance to succeed.
The days it feel like my drops out number my catches and my tosses are all over the living room.
Lots of interruptions. Many distractions.
Frustrating but actually pretty normal. It's especially true following a long line of successes. Seeing the long chain shattered adds its own stress.
I need to push all that aside. It happened. I can't change it.
But I have today to make a difference.
I hope you're able to focus on #today

A new day. A new chance to succeed.
I'm bringing my juggling in close, focusing on the individual bits. Position, stance, smooth tosses, careful catches.
I'll write a bit, read a bit, play a bit, and get a bit of exercise. I have bread rising to bake before the heat of the day.
In pulling my focus in close, the details become more engaging. Distractions have fewer opportunities.
I hope you find some time to focus on your details #today
From mountains to soil,
Wind, water, and time conspire.
Even stones decay.
#dailyhaikuprompt
Another day, another chance to succeed.
Time to get back to basics. Tend to the important things in front of me. The things I can do today.
Some of that will be planning, evaluation.
Some of it, routine tasks that inch the larger projects forward by a day.
Some will be self-care.
So I'll read a little, write a little, play a little, and get some exercise, letting the familiar routine soothe the jagged edges.
I hope you find some time to take care of yourself #today
