Sometimes I hear worship songs and I don't sing along because they only sound nice until you think about what the words actually mean.
Understanding different personality types, and the ability to spot them when interacting with people, makes working with them so much easier! This is something I've learned to do from my husband @npub1njrd...2mct , and it's making things so much easier when dealing with everything we're going through right now, because we understand where people who think differently than us are coming from, and instead of getting upset, we can meet them where they're at, and know they will probably never be able to see things like we do. If this is something you wanna learn to do too, I highly recommend you get my husband's latest book, "How to Become Relationally Intelligent"! Available through FikaTimeBooks.com
If you're honest with yourself, are you the type of Christian who would be on the mountain with Moses, or in the crowd with the rest of the people?
I love being good. I was never even in trouble with my parents growing up.
I was trying to eat my apple, cause I got hungry, and our 9 month old son saw me take a bite and then he tookis the apple from me and tried to take a bite like I did, and then he didn't want to let go of it as he kept trying to take bites... he didn't manage to get any chunks of before he let go enough for me to get it back, but he really wanted my apple!
Got a new dress yesterday. I love it, but I wish it was about 1 inch shorter so it didn't drag on the ground! 🀣 and I'm not that short.
What is your favorite emotional state? Mine is wonderous excitement.
Our son stood without support for the first time yesterday! He'd stood against a couch and pulled a new pack of wipes off of it with one hand, then he let go of the couch and grabbed it with his other hand and stood there for a second before tipping back on his bum. I was so happy I got to see it, and crush my husband missed it. He's getting so close to walking now, and I pray my hubby will get to witness it with me when he takes his first steps!
My husband is good, competent, and powerful. He may intimidate some people, who might want to control or subdue him, but he's like Superman, or Reacher, he only stays in the cuffs because he is good and doesn't need to scare them more, while being himself, so anyone who has eyes to see will recognize his goodness, and competence! I married a MAN, not a bully or pansy, but a good, capable, and dangerous man. I love you, @npub1njrd...2mct you're my favorite!
I put our son in a baby swin for the first time today, and he moved his body a little back and forth, in the right motion as if he was swinging himself! He's 9 months old! 😱πŸ₯³πŸ˜ŽπŸ€£πŸ‘Ά Yeah, he's a genius 😎
I jokingly told my mother-in-law that I wanted a Costco sized nutella jar so I can have energy to lift my son up in the air more. She had joked I needed more chocolate. Then she asked what I like to dip in nutella, and I answered, "A spoon." πŸ˜‡πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£
When people of authority get scared of something because they don't have intimate knowledge of it, they also have a hard time believing that anyone else could possibly have enough knowledge and awareness to make said thing "safe".
Well, I just squealed as a mouse ran across the floor πŸ™„ we might need to get some mouse traps and place below all of the vents so if they ever try to come in, they get snapped in two! (That's how mouse traps work, right? πŸ˜…)
