Our son started getting up on his knees yesterday as he was trying to crawl. Hasn't figured out that he needs to move his legs one at a time to crawl forward, but it's only a matter of time. He did it a ton of times, and had continued this morning. Yeah, when he woke up at 7am and I went to bed past 1am, I put him on the floor to play while I tried getting more rest πŸ˜‡πŸ˜Ž he had fun until he pooped 🀣 and then he had more fun with it after I changed his diaper. Now he's having an early nap.
So, I was changing my son's poopy diaper, and saw something red in it. Neither me nor my husband knew what it was at first. It was 1-2 inches long, kinda seemed like paper to me, but I couldn't make sense of it. He got a hold of a receipt last night, but how could that turn bright red?! Then I turned and threw the dirty diaper away, and saw a bright red muffin wrapper in the trash. Oh, right, he got a hold of one of those yesterday morning or maybe the day before, and hubby mentioned something about him maybe having eated some of it. Mystery solved. Also, this is the first nonfood thing he's eaten. Milestone? πŸ˜…πŸ€£πŸ‘Ά
If someone confesses their feelings for you, the mature response is to answer in "I" replies, and the immature response is to tell the other person what to do. If you don't like them back, simply say so. If your response is anything like, "you shouldn't like me/I'm too old or young for you," or any other reasoning that has to do with the other person, you're trying to control them and their feelings, and that's not your place. If they have feelings for you, that's okay, and they're responsible for sorting those out if you don't feel the same way.
Watched an episode of a Korean show yesterday where someone basically Veritas'ed a dumb rich guy who confessed to the hit-and-run he did that killed the main guys dad 10 years earlier, and how someone else took the fall for him. It was quite interesting getting to "see it in action". I haven't seen much since Veritas got destroyed from the inside.
Ever notice how in shows when they want to portray a convincing tranny, they use an actual woman, who pretends to be a man pretending to be a woman?
Wow, I did soem really hard work today. Hubby asked me if I finished the Paperback cover, and if I had to make it a PDF, and if it was hard. Yes, it was SO hard! I had to click 8 times to select it and download it as PDF, So hard! I probably need to take the rest of the week off to compensate. πŸ˜ŽπŸ€£πŸ˜‡
It's that season again where little beatles somehow make it inside and crawl in the ceiling and randomly fall down on me... 😣 I try to kill them before that happens. Did I mention I hate bugs?! 🀨
I'm so excited for other diapers! I changed his diaper at midnight, then woke up at 3am and put my hand on his tummy and found a wet spot!? The diaper was already full and had leaked!!! They claim it's the right size for him and that they could hold up to 12h??? Never getting the Signature diapers again unless it's an emergency! This is way too much maintenance πŸ˜– How's your morning? 🀣
I've been to 16 countries, not including transit, and 5 continents, and 37 US states. How many places have you been to? πŸ€”πŸ€—
Yesterday we brought our son to church, so I put him down on the floor and he played with his bottle, and actually crawled (belly crawled but still!) I then waited a bit and put it on the other side of him a bit away, and filmed him crawl back to it! When he first started trying to crawl, he would push with his feet and all that power was going straight into his face that was face planted into whatever he was laying on! 🀣 he was so frustrated and kept making grunting noises. Then he figured out that he had to hold his head up, but hadn't realized he needed to move his arms yet, so he kinda turned on one shoulder and pushed with his legs and actually moved forward some, and if he got stuck for some reason, he'd roll over the shoulder. Now he's actually using his arms to help pull himself forward! I look forward to when he lifts his bum and starts crawling that way πŸ€—πŸ€―πŸ€— I'm really glad to be home cause right now he's having some floor time and just crawled into our room Nd reached for his dads shoes on his feet 🀣
Last night our son crawled over to the nightstand and grabbed some kids pixie books my mom brought from my childhood. They're all paper, so I put one of his board books in front of him instead, and he happily replaced it. He hasn't really been interested in books before, so I haven't really showed them to him in a while, so it was really cool to see him going to get one. I pulled him back onto the middle of the bed and he was having a blast opening the book, rolling over it while still holding it, closing it it, then opening it again. I love watching his development!!! Last time he interacted with that board book, he was not able to open it at all. I love being a mom!
I got a huge bag of lettuce yesterday so today I've been eating lettuce as a snack. I was just thinking of how I've turned into a rabbit, and then it dawned on me, it's easter, and I'm a mom, this totally makes sense now! 🀣🀣🀣
Our son turned 7 months yesterday! That means I've been taking care of a baby for 7 months!? Wow! He recently started saying mamamama, but I'm not sure if he was trying to call for me, banana, or nam nam, as he used it around the time he wanted food... πŸ€” but I will take it! 😎 He also got his first tooth! He sits really well, and is starting to practice sitting up for himself. He wants to eat whatever we eat, and is really great at eating what I actually give him. He is funny, fun, can make super loud squeals, smiles and laughs a lot, and LOVES people! He often look and smile at them trying to get their attention. We love him so much! πŸ₯°πŸ‘Ά
