He started standing for multiple seconds at a time yesterday. He's holding his head a lot better lately too, but it's still a bit wobbly.
Grok claimed his standing is just reflexes and that he won't actually start standing closer to 8-9 months old, and apparently he needs to know how to sit on his own first too π€£

Mom life:
Our baby woke up, but didn't seem hungry yet, so I changed his diaper first, then fed him some, as he started pooping in the new diaper, so when I knew he was done, I changed his diaper again and went to put him down when he declared that he was hungry... again... ππ€£
Oh, and the poop leaked out on me π³π€£π€£π€£π₯΄
Is it because there are too many office-hers working there?

Our son is an artist. He made his head all by himself π€£π
Additionally, the material he didn't end up using on the floor, he left on the side of my dress π

My 2 month old son is holding my right pointer finger and just started sucking and licking the side of my hand, the part that goes to my thumb on that hand. It feels so weird!!! π€£ Apparently, he is "craving hands".
In a Panera Bread and I heard a baby crying and it sounded young and I wanted to go over there and share what I've learned for how to soothe a newborn. Not my place so I didn't.
Our son is sleeping soundly... eh, until I wrote the word "soundly" as he just made a noise, but went back to sleep. π

We live off grid and don't have an address that USPS acknowledges.
UPS does deliver to us, and when we previously ordered from Amazon, UPS showed up.
Well, we ordered diapers from Amazon to arrive today, and this morning I checked it and it said "Out for delivery", then a while later I checked again, and it said, "Delivery on hold". Apparently it was being shipped through USPS so they claimed wrong address π¬
I quickly called the number Amazon gave me, but came to the main customer service office, who gave the the local post office number.
I quickly hung up and dialed that number, but no answer and then it hung up. I called again and got through π
The lady I talked to found the package and said she'd move it over to be picked up there.
When I got there, the person in front of me had a packaged they didn't find, but after a quick scan, mine was found π€π

Yay, now we don't need to think about diapers for a while! π₯³
It used to be that school ended at 12 or 13, when the kids had learned to read, write, and math. Then they were considered ready to work, and they were responsible for their money, and their lives.
Nowadays people in college are barely considered adults. It's illegal to work at a younger age, and we wonder why they act like kids?
Maybe there is some coloration between telling people to say in school until they're 25, being dependent on other people to tell them what to do and to provide for them, because they've barely had the chance to provide for themselves.
Yes, there are exceptions, but if you think about it, you quickly realize the exceptions are those we actually do consider to be adults at 21, because they don't act like kids.
And when I say they act like kids, I mean those who don't know how to be responsible.
You can be responsible and have fun in life, so I don't mean they need to be serious.
I'm curious, when you buy books, what format do you prefer? Audiobook, ebook, paperback, or hardback?
I sent my brother a video of our 2 month old making noises, wishing him a happy birthday, and he replied, "Yes, it sounds like a typical "happy birthday" in baby"
My brother is great!
