Our son is 2 months old today! 🥳👶 He has gone from being a kinda small baby, to a big baby. He has started smiling and laughing/giggling, and "talking" with sounds. He holds his head up more, but not fully yet. He loves kicking his feet and getting the cover off of him and then complain about it being cold 🤣 He's rolled 360 degrees. He has started grabbing, and if he grabs my hair, and I ask him to let go, he does! He loves his daddy @FikaTimeBooks.com He picked up a substitute grandma at Starbucks since he hasn't met his real grandma's yet. 🤣 He's basically an international model, as he wooed some Korean tourists and one got a picture with him. Plus, he's known on Nostr, so he's in the cool kids club too 😎 He has accomplished a lot for only 2 months out in the world!

Since we live 30 minutes from town, and usually stop to get water and gas on our way home, whenever we've gotten ice cream, it's been melted by the time we get home. Well, we got a different brand today and I was chocked when I opened it! I almost thought it was old because it wasn't all melted. But no, it's actually just frozen ice cream 🤯🤗 🤣

If I could choose to "sleep like my ____" husband or son, I'd pick my husband. Not because my baby doesn't sleep really well, because he does! We don't need to be quiet around him for him to keep sleeping, he basically "sleeps like my husband". So, why would I want to sleep like my husband and not my baby if they both sleep really well? Because even though I've seen my husband fall asleep really quickly and easily, even after asking me a question, I've never seen him fall asleep while eating. My son, on the other hand, constantly falls asleep while eating! 🤣🤣🤣 Conclusion: I'd rather fall asleep while talking, than fall asleep while eating!

"Happy wife, happy life" is only true if it means you chose a women who is naturally happy as your wife. If you chose a women who isn't happy, nothing you can do will "make" her happy.

Nostr is different than all other social media, since there are no algorithms. Nostr is basically a group of people at a party. Sometimes we say things but it seems no one heard us cause the music was too loud. Sometimes we can get a group of people to pay attention to us as we're saying or doing something cool, but the majority of those people will move on to smaller groups of interactions when the specific thing that caught their attention is done. Everyone isn't there all the time. And sometimes we end up in a room where there's no one else. If we're fun and positive or talk about things others find valuable, they might linger around us so whenever we say something they like again, they pay attention to us again. So, on Nostr, getting 5-10 interactions are way more valuable and intimate than the 100k interactions on other platforms! View quoted note →

Our son smiled at my husband for a second each a few times yesterday, but not at me. Just now, he smiled at me for maybe 20 seconds straight! Long enough for me to call my husbands attention so he got to see it too! 😲🤩🥰🥰🥰👶
