I started collecting a list of "Made in USA with USA materials" yesterday, so I can find things for our baby a lot easier.
Too many things are made from imported materials. I don't care if someone put a few stitches in the fabric in the USA, I care where they got the fabric from.
If you've come across anything sourced from American for babies or new parents, please let me know! I'd love some more links. π

Sometimes I wish I could remove or at least filter comments people leave on my posts, for others.
I just made a post and someone commented where they shared a porn profile. That's disgusting and it shows up even if I've selected to not show sensitive content. That's not something I'd like anyone who sees that post to be exposed to either. I'm glad they can block it, but I wish "sensitive content" could detect and hide all nudity, regardless of how the poster marked it originally.
If you have not read Benefits of Bitcoin yet, now is a good time to do so.
It's not only that the price of bitcoin is going up (while clearly someone sold a bunch). Bitcoin has great incentives, and unlike fiat that keeps printing money to pay for bad ideas, bitcoin incentivizes good ideas!
Like Soapminer, Oshi, Leathermint, and Ben Justman, just to mention a few. They make good products, and that's why people keep buying them for bitcoin, because they're worth more than bitcoin.
If their products were bad, people wouldn't spend their bitcoin on them, and they'd go out of business. Unlike how in fiat land, where the government or banks might bail them out anyways.
The incentives of Bitcoin touches all areas of life, and Benefits of Bitcoin explores and exposes a lot of these areas!

I really want American made AND sourced things for out baby that's coming in about 5 weeks, but I've had such a hard time finding things.
Some say "made in USA", but then they still get the fabric or material from China or some other country, so now I don't trust anything that simply says "made in USA". (Don't trust verify π
)
But today I came across this website, and they explicate that most of the items are "made in the USA from USA materials." π₯³π₯³π₯³
So I wanted to share it here with anyone else who's wanting American made things for their babies!!! π€

Earlier today, I looked over my husband's shoulder when he was checking the bitcoin price, and it looked like 219k, then I sharpened my eyes and it was only 119k.
Well, that was at that time. Maybe I was just seeing the future. 219k by the end of the day? Yes? π
I know it will get there at some point, but it would be so fun if it just shot up all the way there today! ππ€
Interestingly, all the Nostr copies we've sold so far of "How to prepare yourself for marriage" have been bought by men.
Clearly, men want to be married, to find good women to marry, and from what I've seen more broadly here on Nostr, men want to be fathers.
I tried my best to make sure to write the book so both men and women can learn and grow, and to be honoring to both genders, as well as share some insights that will bridge the gap that does exists between how men and women function, that's been under attack from feminism and more for years.
We sell the pdf for 10 000 sats through DMs, or you can find it through FikaTimeBooks.com for fiat.

How to tell if someone into bitcoin has a cushy fiat job:
"I don't care about 'number go up' or 'all time highs'".
For those of us who get paid in sats, we care because everytime the price it up, we spend less of it.
I wasn't sure I was ready to leave the house yet, but then...
"It's hot!!! Ok yes, let's go to Starbucks where I wanna wear a sweater!" π€£
A few days ago, I was inside Starbucks and could see through the drive through window. A car with a lady driver and her kinda big dog were visible on the other side.
The dog looked excited and stared inside more than the lady did while she waited for her order.
Then the barista handed her two little cups of whipped cream and the lady was pushing the dog back towards the back seat and put one down and the dog disappeared out of view.
That dog had been there before and knew what was coming! π€£
I got a lot done today.
Hubby took a "nap" from 9pm last night, and then continued to sleep until 5am something.
I accidentally stayed up until 12:50am π
At 5:50am, while I was half asleep, he asked me if I wanted to join him into town.
It was still cool enough, so I decided to go with him, but then I stayed in the car when he went to work on his book at Starbucks, and I napped until past 10am, when it got so hot I couldn't stand it anymore π
(it got up to 104f today!)
Then I went in and joined my husband. He reminded me of how I've been translating his book Benefits of Bitcoin into Swedish, and I didn't have much left!
I finished translating chapter 15, and the epilogue. Then I duplicated it and removed all the English that was still in there, and then I put it into Kindle Create and made it into a kindle format. Then I did all the work needed to prepare it to be published.
I already had the Kindle cover ready, so it was pretty quick. I did need to translate his Amazon sales copy too.
Then I invited my husband and to join me and we pushed publish together!!! π₯³π₯³π₯³
Then I realized I had never actually made the covers for paperback and hardback, which I thought I had π
oops, so I worked on that and fixed the manuscript to look good in print.
As I was trying time get the last details done before Starbucks closed, my husband said he might wanna change something, so there was no need to keep pushing on, so I saved it and packed up my stuff instead.
Then we got some groceries and gas, passed a car stopped in the middle of the road with the driver hunched over, turned around to check on him and someone else was there calling for an ambulance, and waved us on, and as we left, two cops came driving down that direction. Hope and pray the man is okay! Then we went home.
So, yeah, it was a full day!
"Don't trust, verify", is a saying that usually starts with bitcoin, but goes into all areas of life.
Something I realized about relationships is that a lot of the time, we meet someone and project our own ideas onto them, especially in the beginning, and if we're all hyped up on romantic emotions and fantasy, it can be really hard to see the other person for who they really are.
When I met my husband, I prayed and even asked for some prayer assistance to make sure I went into the first date with a clear mind, not letting myself run away with imagination.
My husband and I grew in love, rather than fell in love.
It reminds me of "don't trust, verify", and part of why I wanted to write our latest book, "How to prepare yourself for marriage".
Dating intentionally instead of romantically leads to a much higher chance of getting a lifelong successful marriage.

If you're interested in reading our book, we sell the pdf version for 10 000 sats through DMs, or through FikaTimeBooks.com for fiat in other formats.

Woohoo!!! π₯³π₯³π₯³
I just finished translating Benefits of Bitcoin to Swedish!
Now I'm working on formatting so we can start selling it! π
Let's get those Swedes orange pilled πβ‘
Wow, I am extremely grateful for AC!
We don't have it in the kitchen were I just spent a significant amount of time making dinner, thinking the other room would stay cool even though we turned off the AC a while before as we got cold.
Well, not cold enough! The amount of heat that had gotten stuck in my body from the kitchen stuck with me and just lingered!
After starting to feel weird, I turned the AC right at myself and turned it on. Within seconds I felt normal again.
It was like drinking cool water after being super thirsty for a while!
It got up to 106f today, and I'm not sure our kitchen has made it past 98f yet π

When someone tells you, "say when", how do you respond?
I usually say "when". π
I started feeling hungry a while ago.
I was sitting and playing on my laptop, but that didn't result in dinner.
So I closed my laptop and I tried snuggling with my husband, but that didn't work either. π
Now I'm trying writing on Nostr, but I'm not sure it's working either...
Ok, fine, I'll head to the kitchen ππ
