I made #donut #icecream last week and it was so perfect! I couldn’t be happier with it. The taste was spot on.
I made my own donuts and soft set raspberry jam, and infused the donuts in the icecream. I chose to use sugar donuts rather than glazed as per the recipe.
Fortunately any baked goods can be used with this. (I also made Anzac biscuit icecream at the same time with the same base).
I layered the icecream with the jam (60% sugar) and it had perfect consistency when frozen.
I paired it with buttermilk pannacotta, mini donuts, raspberry jam and white chocolate milk crumb (Christina Tosi’s recipe from her book Milk Bar - possibly one of the tastiest creations on the planet -made with milk powder, flour, sugar, butter, white chocolate and the perfect amount of salt)
All in all, a very delicious dessert.
