Experimenting with incorporating some more wonky rhythms into my riffs. Quintuplets seem to be underexplored in metal. The guy's name is František Štorm and he's one of the most interesting painters that I know of. He's like a colorful and more frivolous Beksiński. Continuing to elaborate on the riff idea from last week. Laying the whole thing out, not caring about production quality yet. Came up with the second guitar part (in the vid), quad-recorded the guitars (doubled each one). I like the overall feel, but a lot will change before it's ready. I'll surely make some trasitions less abrupt, "deduplicate" the parts some more and replace some of those cheesy parallel octaves with something more fancy. I also went on a tangent and started thinking about the outro.
