Tumult Hype is an interesting macOS app. I’m not very good at animation yet, but it was free in SetApp. I may start playing around in Adobe Animate since work still pays for that. Anyone around here play with animation?

A very kick ass tool whether you’re developing with PHP, NodeJS, or even doing static sites like me. Automatically sets up a local .test domain for every folder you put in the Herd folder, which helped me because I was able to whitelist it for CORS on my CDN and make sure my links were right, etc. #programming #coding #javascript #php

This is me at work.

Every day, I sit this laptop next to a fairly new fully loaded thinkpad with 16 cores (i7) and Nvidia A2000 gpu, twice the ram. Today I had over a dozen programs running on three monitors, with no noticeable performance hit. Running ide’s, dev servers, multiple browsers each with 6-12 tabs. My thinkpad can’t do that without struggling and feeling like it’s gonna catch fire. Specs aren’t everything.
