Why is bitcoin based on a reference implementation instead of an interface with a strong test suite for consensus rules? Always heard multiple implementations could lead to bugs causing a hard fork. Is it really so? Given bitcoin's importance, why can't we find a solution to this problem? Bitcoin Core can and probably will be captured. #asknostr
