How religion gets started. Two years ago we bought a robotic vacuum cleaner. It’s a Roborock series so initially we designated it as “Rocky.” Unfortunately our daughter was scared of the loud sounds so I came up with the idea of sitting her on my lap and greeting the robot with even louder cries of joy and excitement and we were wawing at it saying “papa” (~hello). Since our son is sentient enough to understand the assignment, he is waving and screething of joy even though I’ve never properly introduced him to the whole idea. My daughter taught him. She actually is not doing it anymore herself, she just remembers that her fear went away when she did that with me. More on this phenomenon:

When I was on Twitter earlier, I followed this Asian looking American giving carnivore tips and tricks, supposedly doing “experiments” on his and other kids. This experiment was about their choice of food when given the absolute freedom. Obviously claiming children will give absolute priority to meat then second will be sweet fruits for some and vegetable table will stay untouched. I have 3yo and 1 and 1/4 yo and now I see. If given the chance, they go for beef - even raw. They love eggs. Sometimes they want some fruits (bananas, and/or apples, pears and sometimes grapes), younger one loves tomatoes and that’s basically it. If given the chance, they’d don’t want anything else. Good thing is I now believe they don’t NEED anything else, which is a relief for me. They even outright refuse to eat bread. They are willing to eat pasta on the other hand.
