Sometimes when I’m bored I just open some random apps too doomscroll. It used to be X, Instagram, LinkedIn, others. Every time switching between apps, different feed and a new dopamine rushes. Some weeks ago I deleted all of them. Nostr only Now I notice a couple of times opening @Damus, @primal, and @YakiHonne in a row. But it doesn’t make sense because the feed is the same lol. But the habit is still there sometimes — it’s confronting me haha. Btw .. I know I can get different/more/bigger feeds if I want to doomscroll on nostr with different clients. But still..! :)

Adam and Eve already had free will in the Garden of Eden. They were just not exposed to evil yet Freedom comes with responsibility. Knowing that you’re free, comes with responsibilities too. And with a moral accountability. Freedom tech can teach us a lot.

Deleted Twitter and Instagram on my phone some weeks ago, and Nostr has been replacing this nicely actually. Still opportunities to scroll if I want to be lazy, using several clients for whatever I want (read notes, long reads, or Olas). Just removing “old social media” apps from your pocket is a first good step if you don’t want to delete entire accounts.

@PABLOF7z what I find interesting using #olas is that I do receive all likes and zaps in any client, without being able to see the post in Damus/Primal itself. Interesting phenomenon that I can see the comments on a post, but not the post itself. Even if Damus/Primal/others *on purpose* decide to not implement anything of the new NIP.
