Don't outshine your boss. Being defeated is hate-ful, and besting one's boss is either foolish or fatal.
Superiority is always odious, especially to superiors and sovereigns. The common sort of advantages can be cautiously hidden, as beauty is hidden with a touch of artful neglect. Most people do not mind being surpassed in good fortune, character, or temperament, but no one, especially not a sovereign, likes to be surpassed in intelligence. For this is the king of attri-butes, and any crime against it is lèse-majesté. Sovereigns want to be so in what is most important. Princes like to be helped, but not surpassed.
When you counsel someone, you should appear to be reminding him of something he had forgotten, not of the light he was unable to see. It is the stars who teach us this subtlety.
They are brilliant sons, but they never dare to outshine the sun.

ONE SMALL POSITIVE THOUGHT

CAN CHANGE YOUR WHOLE DAY
Scientists gave people a Lego structure and asked them to make it stronger. Almost everyone added more bricks. Almost nobody removed the weak ones. It's called addition bias.
When something isn't working, your brain defaults to adding. New habit. New tool. New system. New hire.
But the people who actually fix things subtract first. They remove what's dragging everything down before they add anything new. Your calendar. Your tech stack. Your morning routine.
Your business. The answer is usually less, not more. Subtract before you add. Every time.
Your income is determined by your impact-the more value you add, the greater your reward.
Step out of your comfort zone and face your fears.
Growth happens when you are challenged, not when you are comfortable.
Keep your face always toward the sunshine - and shadows will fall behind you
Something I noticed about genuinely happy people:
They're doing less than you. They have fewer goals. Fewer appointments.
Fewer obligations. They've learned that addition by subtraction is real. While you're optimizing every minute, they're sitting on their porch drinking coffee.
They're not lazy. They just figured out that most of what we chase doesn't matter. Busy is a choice. Peace is too.
One looks successful. The other actually is.

Most people are stuck in toxic relationships because they are afraid to be alone.
I survived all the snakes, but a butterfly killed me.
You don't drown by falling in water.
You drown by staying there.

You'll lose 99% of your close friends if you start upgrading your life.
It's better to live cheap under budget than live luxuriously in debt.
After a certain age, you are no longer the product of your environment or how you were raised.
It's a personal choice to live the way you do. At some point, blaming your past becomes a distraction from your future.
Healing is your responsibility.
Growth is your decision.
You don't need everyone to believe in you.
You only need the courage not to stop believing in yourself.
When life is hard, Pray. when life is great, Pray.

We are all tourists:

Some things lose their value the moment they have to be begged for.
Respect.
Honesty.
Effort.
Clarity.
When people want to give those things, they do not need to be convinced.
You can ask once.
After that, the answer is already there.
