CHEAPEST BITCOIN OFFLINE SIGNING DEVICE 1. 15yo netbook (64b, 2Gb RAM) - 25€ 2. Remove HD + Wifi 3. Wreck Eth port 4. Flash Linux Tails on USB drive 🚨 The only way out for any device that enters the red square is its physical destruction. 🚨 Devices interact ONLY with each other. * Linux Tails won't run in a 32bit machine. Also, if you want to avoid a world of pain, don't even try the minimum 1GB RAM requirement (2GB module is about 10$ new) image
If you're using Bisq on the latest Tails 5.13 release, you need to change the Tor Control Port from 9051 to 951. In the "run-tails" script: --torControlPort 951 image
Perhaps it's just me, but during the last year or two I've been noticing that you can access less and less websites if you route your traffic through well known VPN providers. From Govt sites to innocuous chain-stores. Hosting your own VPN on a random data center fixes this. You can switch between hosted and self-hosted VPN when necessary. If you Ignore all the bitcoin stuff on the video tutorial below, you can have an anonymous VPN running in a few minutes.
Anyone else has noticed an improvement when accessing tor hidden services during the last couple of weeks?
DELETE UMBREL ! You shouldn't be running additional software next to your Bitcoin node anyway. Hey! Coming up, BSV node one click install? It would be anti free market no to do so. image
