About a month ago, the SEC in the Philippines released a circular regarding crypto asset providers. while I do advocate for proper regulation for cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin, it is important for these entities to understand that it’s a protocol; banning the use of apps that provide access to a global market (a market that is not based in any one country) is blind and ignorant in the understanding of what bitcoin is. I wish this country could do better

Learning about Bitcoin at this point in my life has been a blessing in disguise. Having to learn concepts such as confirmations, UTXO’s, decentralization, PROOF OF WORK, and much more have been a slight headache. Although I do believe that this is crucial to having the conviction to HODL. As usual, I wish I learned all of this sooner, but the fact that I’m here today—is something that we’ll all look back to and thank fate that we are where we are.
