Another joyful year, another practice in adversity and having to adapt and overcome. I feel like I'm still in the afterglow, and just started a reflection process. I'm also still cleaning dust out of curious places. I missed all the #meshtastic meetups, and quite frankly every time I tried to jump on main chat, the app was extremely slow and unresponsive; which is to say anecdotal and wasn't keeping my attention or focus -- oh, hey, squirrel! -- which, quite frankly, is how it should be.

It's that time of summer when it's stupid hot out, I'm over it, and I think about winter. I am reminded of this cycle, as the reverse is true in winter when it gets frigid cold and wet, and I'm over it. This too shall pass.

Anyone going to #burningman this year? Is there much of a #nostr presence out at #blackrockcity? I'm excited to play with some #meshtastic out on playa; been spending the day flashing the #burningmesh firmware on several devices to hand out to camp mates. Also hoping to play with #bitchat as well, although it seems it may be a bit under-cooked for the burn.

I’m curious if there are any thru-hikers or other adventurers that have/are used/ing the micro.blog platform as a sort of trail journal. (As I have the inclination to do myself for my future adventures.)

🚵‍♂️ First time fat biking in the snow. The climb is was worth the squeeze (and so was the rental). I have done this ride when the road is cleared on several occasions, this was a very different experience. I don’t think I’m ready to N+1 a fat bike to my quiver — yet.

🏍️ First ride of the year! It got a bit squirrelly, I was pushing my skill level (Im very new to this) and gained some confidence.

(Re) #introduction decided to come back around to see how things were working out in nostr land… not disappointed. Things appear to making leaps and bounds.

@jb55 #Damus Usability report on IPad Mini 6: - action buttons are tiny, and a struggle to hit the first, or even the 10th time trying. Same with the photo X close button. - searching hashtags works from the first layer, but unable to click through on a different hash on the hash search results, preventing hashtag discovery rabbit holes. If there is a better place to report this stuff, send me in the right direction.
