Try searching the internet about the hanging person in the Wizard of Oz. Every single link calls it a myth that has been debunked, almost all repeating the same choice of words. They all say its a crane or emu, but the hanging version is obviously not a bird. In the modern version it very obviously is a bird and in a different location.
