A home owner that has home insurance is financially incentivized to see that the house burns completely to the ground during a fire. A home owner that does not have home insurance is financially incentivized to see that the house is saved as much as possible. Insurance companies will try to prorate the payout based on how much of the house was actually physically burned. Yes the rest of the house is unlivable but they will only pay for whats actually burned.

Most folks don't realize that the typical real estate transaction will cost the property owner more to sell it than it did to buy it (in total transaction costs, like agent fees, closings, etc). This means as #Bitcoin steadily demonetizes real estate, there will come a point where real estate owners become upside-down in their properties en masse. It will be like the GFC on steroids. If history rhymes, this will likely lead to mass default, mass foreclosure, financial depression, and revolution.

Last year I paid $16k in taxes to the federal government. This doesn't include countless other taxes I paid last year. IRS just sent me a letter saying I owe them another $119 and have exactly 1 month to pay it 🙄 I received this letter the same day my mexican contractors told me they don't like Trump bc he's "not good for spanish people". He said he's lived here for 30 years. Barely speaks any english. Almost certainly not a citizen.
