I did it boys, I purple pilled a bitcoiner in the wild. During my day trip in Madeira we got a bit turned around in the town of Sao Jorge, a small town in the northern end of the island. While I was trying to find somewhere to park and walk around we happened on this little cafe on the top of the hill. It had a free parking space and I leaped on it. (parking was very trickly up there, IFKYK) Anyways, I approach the front door and I see it... "BITCOIN ACCEPTED HERE" I finally found a place in Madeira that accepted #Bitcoin. I purchased 2 cappuchinos and some Natas and spent 30 minutes speaking to the owner about Nostr. He had never heard of it. So I walked him through setting up an account on #primal I was buzzing for an hour or so afterwards. This is what its all about. As a Canadian now living under a 4th term with the liberals, I'm actually a bit apprehensive of the future. Especially for Bitcoin.
