Tabata finished in the sun listening to the new book by Rob Gray. Love combining learning health etc in one session. I don’t know about you but I’ve never done well sitting down with no physical sensation input. School was brutal for that. image

One aspect of my work that fascinates me is helping clients to change without forcing or telling them the answer. Getting them to have the right environment to problem solve things themselves is so challenging. I have come to pay more attention to this via my own learning of bjj. I don’t do well with being told to do something the. Trying to memorise- it just doesn’t stick I’m reading the “ecological coach” by Rob Gray atm immersing myself in this area of research. I’ve come to realise quite late that this ecological framework for skill acquisition was what I was using with my conditioning work with athletes in football. I’ve also realised that when José mourinho arrived at Chelsea he also brought with him this approach to learning and why he kicked the fitness & medical team out of the training. He understood the danger of bringing in the logical centralised mind into the complex system of football. I’m understanding how this framework is universally important to every aspect of my work and also my life. Bitcoin separates the money from the state which is exactly what mourinho did at Chelsea - get the centralised mind out of complex systems. Rambling thoughts 😂

School had never suited my way of learning, and even today, that conditioning makes me feel like I don’t “study” enough. But I’ve come to understand that my way of learning is different. I process complex systems in my head, moving information around like Tom Cruise in Minority Report with his interactive screen. My learning comes not from books but from doing—and then analyzing the patterns that emerge. I share this to encourage others to find their own best way of learning. Don’t let archaic schooling systems, which prioritize rote memorization and secondhand learning, define you. Beneath the conditioning, you are perfect. And together, we can learn how to dismantle those limiting programs. image

I worked with a client recently on a troublesome cough than they had been experiencing for a couple of months. I found the main energy weakness for her was a sinus infection (yeast) caused by negative mental thoughts around the hamster wheel of ignore / paying attention to. (root cause) When I asked her about what situation in her life was bringing up this hamster wheel, she thought for a moment & mentioned a problem with her kids & not tidying or doing anything in the house for her. She said it was her main complaint/stress in her life. As she said this she realised that she had told her german friend about this problem with her kids the day before, & used the expression “Die Nase voll haben” The literal translation is: “To have the nose full” That realisation was the start of the clearing of her sinuses which are much better now. The mind & body are inseparable in #health. ____ “Die Nase voll haben” What does it mean and how is it used? This expression is just another, more creative, way of saying “enough is enough”. It’s often used when someone is fed up with a particular situation and no longer wants to talk about it. For example, if you are fed up with the loud music your friend is playing you would say “Ich habe die Nase voll von der lauten Musik!” (I am fed up with the loud music.) You might often hear people say “Ich habe die Schnauze voll!” – in which case they replaced the word “Nase” (nose) with the less polite slang word “Schnauze” (snout). image

Even today, I remain captivated by the concept of strong and weak energy—the foundational "one and zero" coding that underpins everything. It fascinates me how the slightest misalignment in this code can generate an immediate effect on the physical body, highlighting the dynamic interplay of energies that influence well-being. Much like viewing a website on a computer, there’s no point in shouting at the screen to fix a misaligned photo; you must delve into the source code to make a lasting change. image
