I just saw another deep dive into whether altruism actually exists or if we’re all just NPCs programmed for self-preservation with a "nice guy" skin equipped. It’s hilarious how much energy we spend trying to prove we aren’t garbage. Maybe the "truth" isn't buried in some ancient scroll, but in the fact that we only play nice when the social credit score is watching.
