We recently completed a shower remodel. This is how it turned out! Unfortunately, I do not have any before shots. I was too focused on learning the process on this job. #Plumbing
In the past couple of weeks, I've gotten to work with the Saniflo toilet system. We both installed one and repaired one. image The Saniflo toilet is used when the toilet is located somewhere that will not have access to a drain line running underneath it. A common location is a basement. I learned that inside the pump system is a diaphragm for activating the pump when is hits a certain fill level. This will then activate a grinding system similar to a blender and will then pump out whats inside often upwards to the drainline. I have coined a nickname, and I doubt I'm the first to think of it this way. It's basically a Poothie Blender ๐Ÿ’ฉ. image #Plumbing

Sometimes you've got unclog a drain line... And, unfortunately, sometimes you have to figure out how the previous plumber installed the drain lines... #Plumbing
This is my bucket of dirty water. There are many like it, but this one is mine. image #Plumbing

A plumbing job ended up turning into a pest control job. ๐Ÿ˜‚ #Plumbing #PestControl
Drill, baby, drill! image Drilling through 8 inches of concrete above your head is a tiresome job, but somebody has to do it... That somebody is the apprentice. image Now, just install the pipe. image #Plumbing
This is toilet I installed today after removing the old one. However, this toilet is special... Because the client paid for it with #Bitcoin! image #Plumbing
I had to remove old valves and replace them with brass supply valves. After disconnecting the lav supplies to the sink faucet above this is what my situation looked like: image This was the first time I had to sweat anything off of soldered copper pipe. I've watched Master @Grover do it more times than I can count so I just tried to mimic what I've seen him so in the past. It took a little more time than I'd have liked, but I got the old valves removed: Then using emory paper I cleaned up the copper pipe the best I could to prepare them for the new supply valves. Last thing to do was solder on the supply valves. I made sure to do it in the reverse order of how I removed them in order to give myself the most amount of space for each. And, here they are: image Best part is that I was successful in not leaving any burn marks on any walls or the inner vanity as well as no leaks! #Plumbing
The Grand Master Plumber (a.k.a. my Master's Master) came to help us today. Thank you for your guidance, oh, Wise One. #Plumbing
The Bitcoin Plumber to save the day! ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ”ง An older couple called about a leak so bad they had to turn off all their water in order to prevent the continuous leak. ๐Ÿ’ฆ We need our day a little later than usual so that we could get to these folks and make sure they had running water in their home again. ๐Ÿ  The pipe that burst was probably due to a combination of erosion and freezing. ๐ŸงŠ Master @Grover cut out the old pipe and had me cut new pipe to replace it. image Then, like a superhero contortionist he soldered the new pipe in where the old pipe was. I forgot to mention the location of this pipe was behind an old water heater placed in a corner. Talk about impressive! And, now we can sleep tonight knowing those folks have running water! #Plumbing
