I have been playing with the idea of publishing certain #podcast episodes #nostr only, though I'm still in the process of wondering how I'd actually do that. Anyone doing that so far? Any recommendations? Maybe gentle hike-casters like @Gigi? 🤔

Playing with a thought I had about the positive effects of constructive & good-faith debates. A bubble can exist within a community but not the other way around. A community yields progress while too many times, bubbles have to offer nothing but stagnation. Your thoughts on this?

The good old "divide and conquer" trick. So old, yet still applied around the world.

Inspired by a recent interview of Manova, I have started looking more closely at the history and status of #technocracy. Will probably do a (compact) blog post on that matter in some time. In view of recent political discussions, does that map look familiar? 👀 (source: image

Some thoughts on the digital realm. For thousands of years, detecting threats has been essential for us in order to survive as a species. Hence, we have a built-in tendency to focus on the bad things, the sad things, threats, our "enemies," and negativity while neglecting the bright side of life, good people, and the other side of the coin, so to speak. Generally speaking, the digital realm, foremost social media, fuels this tendency, and sometimes it even exploits this very aspect of human nature. While some things might overlap to some extent, cyberspace and the real world are different realms, the latter being the one that truly matters. Of course, keep on building software to improve the world bit by bit, but shy away from neglecting what matters in life. Most folks out there are very fine people. Touch grass and give hugs. Just my two cents for today. image
