It only took 8 days to fall completely head over heals in love with St. Michaels, MD! In this world of decisiveness, the citizens of this town are one people. They love and respect one another and, as an outsider, they have showed me the same.
Carolyn, in the office at Higgins Yacht Yard, is my new St. Michaels bestie. Jay, the owner of Blue Herron coffee shop, is a fun loving guy. With the Grateful Dead dancing bears across the from of the counter and tie-dyed bagels, roasting his beans that you can smell from two blocks away, has a heart of gold. The crew at the C-Street Saloon, the local watering hole, will make you feel as welcome as the locals. Vic, selling his art from his garage, says, “If you see that old red dodge in the driveway, I’m here. Stop by any time.”
Those are only a few of the amazing people I’ve met in St. Mikes. When I think of people with character, I will forever think of the people of St. Michaels, MD.
I’ll definitely be back! Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
