The bitcoin price is not reflective of true demand because exchanges are acting as custodians. It’s trivial and positively incentivised to sell paper bitcoin. Until this changes, the price won’t move. When/If this model breaks, we will witness the true, free market price, that no one is calculating. Till then, booooring.
