Anyone in Atlanta or Nashville who'd like to meet? I'll be chilling between these cities for the next few weeks.

Super worth a listen, @₿en Wehrman is really doing an awesome job at going down different rabbit holes. Agree with him or not, he has guts and a lot of curiosity, because a lot of these topics can be highly controversial.
This episode about immigration, for example, can spark a lot of outrage, but it was very based and balanced in my opinion. I say this as a Mexican and someone who grew up illegally in the United States for over 10 years. I have no issue sharing this. I probably wouldn't be where I am right now if my father wouldn't of taken the tough decision of leaving everything he had here in search of a better life, I probably wouldn't be helping people the way I am helping them now, I probably wouldn't be a bitcoiner in this moment of my life. Nonetheless, I can agree and know a bit of the living hell the border is, and for every honest hardworking individual looking for a better life, there is also a monster crossing that border. Something has to be done.
The problem though is clearly outlined in the conversation, government in general. The USA government has clearly caused a lot of this migration due to their interventionist actions throughout the world in the last decades, they have also facilitated the mass entry of illegal immigrants. The Mexican government created an inflation problem so big in 1994, that my father was forced to close his shop and be consumed by debt, so much so, that going to the USA seemed like the only option. My father didn't want to go to the USA, most latinos would choose to stay where they are, especially due to the strong family ties we have, but necessity will always overcome this desire. You either join the cartel, which is simply supplying demand for their products/services in the USA, or you look elsewhere.
Government fucks all and #bitcoin fixes this.

Just received my tallow soap from @SoapMiner ! It took almost a month to arrive to my house in Mexico, but I think the wait will be worth it.

Just bought @Jack Spirko book, I'm looking forward to it.

After watching this video recommended by @Matthew Kratter I've decided to run Bitcoin Knots on my @Start9. Maybe you should consider it too.
There are a lot of devs here so I'd love to ask: How different is the job market demand (in your local area or globally) for a software engineer vs a computer scientist? Which one would you recommend and why?
