Will be trying to go live on zap.stream with @Efrat Fenigson today, Feb 4, at 18:30 Mexico city time (UTC-6). Haven't used it in a while, so let's see how it goes. Hop on if you want to ask questions!
I know my way around the Mexican system, but the American one seems like a whole different beast. Has anyone actually applied the things mentioned in this document to avoid paying taxes in the USA? Arguments are interesting but I did a quick AI fact check (AI is apparently programmed to not promote tax evasion, I used Venice ai and Maple) and it says this document is false and gives dangerous advice. Any recommendations on a CPA in Georgia? Taxes in the USA feel more complicated than in Mexico and I'm contemplating on whether filing taxes myself or hiring a CPA. #asktr #asknostr
I approve eating steak, getting sunshine and working out. Your decisions, awareness and productivity generally improve after consistently doing that for a while (I recommend at least a month, but try to hit 3 months). Become dangerous to the state, a warrior in a garden. View quoted note →
Great show, @Avi Burra @Tom Ta₿er . I'll be buying my beef from the Beef Initiative when I get to the USA. I've heard of them before and glad to see the organization growing. Bitcoin, Nostr and Beef (BNB?), what a great freedom combo, can't fight tyranny if you're malnourished.
Another great episode between @Simon Dixon and @Jeff Booth . I love seeing great minds come together and battling out their thesis through conversation. I agree with Jeff Booth, it's really hard to imagine what a different system would look like, we simply pull what we know/understand from the current system and extrapolate it to anything new. That's why I'm still open to the idea that #agorism , #anarcocapitalism , or whatever you want to call it, is indeed possible. Individuals and even nations engage in anarchic relationships every day. Anarchy isn't a geographical area, it's day to day interactions, I don't need a central force to speak to my neighbor or decide what I want to eat; some countries (i.e El Salvador, China, Russia, etc.) just do things without waiting for a world government to tell them what to do. #Bitcoin circular economies and coding are other great examples of anarchy in action. You can just do things without anyone else's permission. With both #Bitcoin and #Nostr , for the first time in history, I think we have the tools to take back our individual freedoms, at least for those who are willing to. Fortunately, other tools are stemming from these 2 that facilitate freedom more than ever. And even if it's not 100% achievable, I still think it is worth striving for, to get as close to it as possible. Anything less, and it's not a world I would want my children to grow up in. I will never settle for less, and as long as we have people who think AND act this way, there a will always be hope and the will to fight.
Anyone that shares @MAHDOOD views or contrary/different ones that would like to come on the pod? It's an open invite and I just want to have a conversation, I'm not the instigator type, so no need to worry about losing time quarreling. View quoted note →
So, I've been focusing on my craft and stacking sats in the past few months, now I've the freedom to come back to podcasting, which I want to continue because it allows me to get to know new and exciting people, as well as open my mind to ideas or perspectives never previously considered.
