GN You can’t compare trails with road running. Extreme difference in my easy run today compared to the race yesterday. It’s night and day difference. It was a lot more elevation in the race. Should be mentioned. But, yes. It’s just insane. Got reminded by it today. And I’m so impressed and inspired by the men and women that finished the race 30min faster than me yesterday! Inspired to become more of a climbing mountain goat. Next year I’ll do the same race 15 min faster. Today I did an easy 10k that included 5x30sec strides. Hope you have a good Sunday! GM Race update from today. 21km 1:57:02. Fun race but it was tough. Could probably have done some more resting in the week leading up to the race. But it was still very fun! 650m of elevation.
