I see A LOT of “it’s the Jews!” posts on this protocol of late, and while I will defend your right to say it, I’m getting aggrieved blue-hair “it’s the patriarchy!” vibes. Replace “patriarchy” with “Jews” and it’s almost word for word. “Our problems are due to the patriarchy!” “The patriarchy has held us down for so long!” Just sub in Jews now. Oh yes, you have your justifications, your rationales for why your personal problems and character deficiencies are really due to the Jews, no chance you are just falling short on your own. The blue hairs can point out the same re the patriarchy, the endless colonialism, oppression, blah blah blah. If you live in a modern western country you are still (for now) largely free to determine your own fate, whether you thrive or live a dull, stilted life and console yourself with self-pitying victim-think. And this is true even with all the geopolitical chaos and corruption. And this is true no matter your race, ethnicity, religion or other special box society has for you. You have the ability to choose the focus of your attention, the state of your consciousness. Why else tell people to “stack?” unless you thought they still had a choice? Very easy to see the blue hairs falling for an absurd psyop, harder to see yourself falling for the same (but counter) psyop. That psyop is “divide and conquer.” What the ruling class fears most is for people of uncommon ancestry to make common cause. Urging people you don’t know to “stack” is the same as saying “make common cause.” Most people here understand this. And yet they still contribute to the psyop, wittingly or not.

Identity politics used to be the scourge of the left, but now I see it everywhere on the right too.

Won the men's Padel tournament today. Granted they paired me with Boris Becker (German guy who was good). But it validates my decision not to transition.

Ha — that account kept zapping me small amounts and liking my posts, and I ignored it. Was tempted to follow, only because my threshold for following on nostr is low, but held off. Even if it were real, just unseemly basing your account identity on your kid getting cancer. Something gross about the whole thing. And yeah, be reliable, honest and fair to people in real life — most “charity” is virtue signaling or outright fraud. View quoted note →

Meant to zap a few of you over the last couple weeks, was traveling, can’t do it from my phone. So if you get a random zap now, that’s why.

Last day in the States before heading back to the museum that is Europe. It’s a nice museum, but having trouble figuring out how to pay for the maintenance.

Was in Princeton the other day for kid’s basketball camp. Camp was great — very well run, high level of play, but the town was, for lack of a better term, extremely vaccinated. Was a Free Palestine protest (which is fine IMO), but it occurred to me there would never in a million years have been an mRNA mandate protest there. They only protest what they’re allowed to protest, that to which “good” people are permitted to object. Elite colleges are museums to critical thought and earnest inquiry. The forms are all there — beautiful buildings, large libraries, giant old trees, but the spirit is dead.
