Calling it a peace plan is idiotic. It implies a non-existent war between two military states. This has been a disproportionate collective punishment of Palestinians as a whole and was never directed at the freedom fighters, labelled "terrorists", alone. This week, the Israeli military escalated airstrikes and artillery bombardments across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip - including Gaza City, Khan Younis, and Deir el-Balah - killing dozens of Palestinians. Fighter jets targeted residential buildings, a mosque, and other infrastructure in Gaza City, resulting in multiple civilian casualties. The operations continued as NetanYahoo rejected a U.S.-backed disarmament and withdrawal plan, vowing that the military will maintain its positions and continue its ethnic cleansing project until Hamas is fully disarmed. A study commissioned by Pennsylvania State University revealed that 82% of Jewish Israelis support the forcible expulsion of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, with 70% stating that if Palestinians leave, they should never be allowed to return. Meanwhile the Israeli military has continued to steal more land. After earlier truce agreements, they established a perimeter fence buffer zone. However, ongoing ground operations and a systematic "leveling" of neighborhoods have continually pushed this boundary deeper. In mid-2026, the physical wall and barrier along this line were expanded by more than 2 kilometres further inside Gaza's territory. Since then, military maps quietly issued to international aid organizations added an "orange line" restricted area. This designation now cordons off an additional 11% of Gaza. Together, these direct military zones and restricted corridors encompass nearly two-thirds (64% to 65%) of Gaza's total land area, strictly limiting or completely prohibiting Palestinian access, squeezing the Palestestinians into an ever shrinking concentration camp of starvation and misery. All this with the full knowledge and consent of the majority of Israeli citizens. Netanyahoo is buying time ... in order to implement a final solution.
