I am a Filipino domestic helper here in Hong Kong. Here in Hong Kong.Workers are required to have a day off once a week. That's why I make every day off meaningful. I enrolled in a Massage Therapist course to gain a new skill that I can use someday when I go home for good or wherever life takes me. Today I've finished my OJT (On-the-Job Training). My Next plan is to Enroll a Swimming Class this Summer. image

Pls.Read my Entry Solo parent Campaign **A Solo Parent’s Journey of Strength and Sacrifice** On January 26, 2017, life changed forever. My husband passed away from an asthma-related cardiac arrest—just three days after I gave birth to our youngest daughter. The pain was unbearable. I had just given birth, and suddenly I was left alone with three children to raise. I didn’t know what to do. I was terrified of facing life on my own, afraid that I wouldn’t be able to give my children the future they deserved. When my aunt recommended that I work as a domestic helper in Hong Kong, I agreed. My employer covered all the expenses, so I didn’t have to spend a single peso to go abroad. Even though my youngest was only six months old, I made the difficult decision to leave her behind so I could work and provide for my family. I knew that if I stayed in the Philippines, my income wouldn’t be enough to support my three children alone. I left with peace of mind, knowing that my mother and siblings would take good care of them. When I first arrived in Hong Kong, not a single day passed without tears. I missed my children terribly, especially my youngest. Even though we had video calls every day, the longing never went away. But as time went by, I slowly got used to it—especially when I started earning my salary and was able to provide for their needs. The thought that my sacrifices were giving them a better life gave me strength to keep going. Now, I have been working in Hong Kong for nine years with the same employer. I consider myself one of the many domestic helpers blessed with a kind and generous employer who treats me like family. I am also fortunate to have the freedom to visit the Philippines whenever I want, sometimes even three times a year. My eldest, whom I left when she was six years old, is now fifteen. My second daughter, who was two years old when I left, is now eleven. And my youngest, who was only six months old when I went abroad, is now nine. Time has flown so fast. They have grown into kind, intelligent, and loving children. Looking back, I realize how far we’ve come. From the pain of loss to the strength of rebuilding, every tear and sacrifice was worth it. Thank you, Lord, for guiding me through every step and for blessing me with children who continue to be my greatest source of strength and inspiration.

Fishball Curry This snack is commonly seen in Hongkong and important part of Hongkong street food culture. The cheapness of the food contribute to its popularity. Hong Kong-style curry fish balls are a beloved street food with a distinctive spicy, savory, and slightly sweet profile. The fish balls themselves are uniquely bouncy, springy, and mild in flavor, perfectly absorbing the robust curry sauce which features a complex blend of Chinese spices, oyster sauce, and curry powder. If you come to visit Hongkong don't miss to try this street food. image

Good morning BChNostr. Have a productive Monday. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is trading around $196 to $198 today, seeing minor marginal shifts while facing downward pressure alongside broader altcoin sell-offs. Despite bearish market sentiment, BCH has periodically shown resilience, occasionally acting as a sole green gainer in index funds during wider market downturns.

I'm just curious how Bitcoin Cash started. So I just ask Google .lol Bitcoin Cash is a hard fork of Bitcoin with a protocol upgrade to fix on-chain capacity. Bitcoin Cash intends to be a Bitcoin without Segregated Witness (SegWit) as soft fork, where upgrades of the protocol are done mainly through hard forks and without changing the original economic rules of the Bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is released on 1st August 2017 as an upgraded version of the original Bitcoin Core software. The main upgrade is the increase in the block size limit from 1MB to 8MB. This effectively allows miners on the BCH chain to process up to 8 times more payments per second in comparison to Bitcoin. This makes for faster, cheaper transactions and a much smoother user experience. Why was Bitcoin Cash Created? The main objective of Bitcoin Cash is to to bring back the essential qualities of money inherent in the original Bitcoin software. Over the years, these qualities were filtered out of Bitcoin Core and progress was stifled by various people, organizations, and companies involved in Bitcoin protocol development. The result is that Bitcoin Core is currently unusable as money due to increasingly high fees per transactions and transfer times taking hours to complete. This is all because of the 1MB limitation of Bitcoin Core's block size, causing it unable to accommodate to large number of transactions. Essentially Bitcoin Cash is a community-activated upgrade (otherwise known as a hard fork) of Bitcoin that increased the block size to 8MB, solving the scaling issues that plague Bitcoin Core today. Nov 16th 2018: A hashwar resulted in a split between Bitcoin SV and Bitcoin ABC
